This reworked Version of the Courage LC70/75 will replace the previous Courage Teams from the GRID Prototypes Mod 2006-2012 v2.0
Note :
this cars can also be installed and driven without the Grid Prototypes Mod.

The Courage-ORECA LC70 is a Le Mans prototype of the LMP1 class developed by Courage Competition and used in sports car racing since 2006. In the meantime, however, Courage Compétition has been taken over by ORECA, so that the original name Courage LC70 has been changed. The Courage-ORECA LC75 is almost identical in construction, but was designed for the LMP2 class.
Another modification of the LC75 are the Acura ARX-01a and Acura ARX-01b, which has been used in the American Le Mans Series since 2007. The type designation LC stands for Lillian Courage, Yves Courage’s wife who died in 2004.

Version 2.1 (September 2022) :
I only reworked the LOD A Styles as the changes are not visible on
lower LODs if the cars are further away.
here are my changes :
– reworked many texture settings
– renamed material names and corrected some wrong named / assigned materials
– cutted, splitted and remerged some body / cockpit parts new
– corrected some 3D parts
– assigned correct body and masks textures for FLM Oreca (i missed that in my first update)
– reworked / re-created powered on taillights
– reworked internal cockpit + parts
– reworked mirrors and corrected glass position
– added better sounds for Oreca FLM (from Enduracers)
– added better shadow texture by GTR233 (better anti-aliasing)
– reworked some .car, .cas and damage files entries
…and a lot more that I can’t remember…
Sound Notes :
The required Sound-Files are NOT included in this Mod !
This car uses the same sounds like the Pescarolo 01 Evo.

Deinstall / Install Instructions :
IMPORTANT !
Before installing this new version, remove FIRST any previous versions !
for that, navigate into your “GTR2-GameData-Teams-GRID…” directory and delete the complete folder “Courage LC70 Teams” – done.
to install, extract with WinRAR or else and drop the GameData folder into your GTR2 main-directory – allow to overwrite existing one with “YES ALL” – done.
No original GTR2 files will be overwritten.
